Marin Coast - Salmon

Decided to head up the Marin Coast to do some Salmon Fishing, John arrived at my house at 5:30am. After fueling up the boat and Truck we headed over to Oyster Point to Launch. We were to meet Mike (Carole-C )and Ken and Dave on Early Bite up there. Got ahold of Ken and Dave on Early Bite and they were already in the water trolling by Slide Ranch. We finally got our lines in at Muir and started trolling Apexes, after 30 minutes of seaweed hook ups we picked up and headed to Duxbury Bouy where the fleet had gathered and where Ken, Dave and Mike also ended up. Mike hooked up, Ken kept losing his fish and John and I landed 2 nice salmon 12 LBS and 17LBS, we kept trolling till 12pm and called it a day. Wanted to be back at the dock before the winds kicked up. Made a rest stop at the Butt Hole (Pt Bonita) to catch the view then headed on and stopped by Angel Island to say Hi to Al Pallas on the Tail Chaser. Talked for awhile, admired the radar arch he had built and how nice the radar looked i had sold him and continued to head in, well we didn't beat the winds, got soaked right up to the Bay Bridge then it mellowed out. Great Day on the ocean, bumpy on the way out, but got nicer as the day went on. Fish caught on silver, green apexes at 65 and 45 feet in 98 ft of water.
